Veal Meatballs With Peaches

These veal meatballs are an inspiration from my grandmother’s recipe, who loved mixing sweet and savory. If you like out of the ordinary recipes, this one is for you.

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ lb ground veal
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • Salt & pepper at the taste
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

Sauce

  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 box 19oz pieces of peaches

Steps:

  1. Heat the oven to 350˚ F, make the meatballs, brown the meatballs, reserve
  2. Mix the sauce except for the peaches, pour over the meatballs
  3. Put in the oven, covered, 30 to 40 minutes
  4. Add the peaches, put in the oven for 15 minutes
